Many people use the term “marketing strategy,” when what they really mean is marketing tactics.

Strategy is not a Facebook post or a paid search campaign or a blog post. Those are the tactics you use to execute your strategy.

If you haven’t created a proper strategy to work from, then your marketing efforts will be a collection of random tactics, often with random results!
